WHY RUN-SHOOT-DEFEND SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP?
STOP WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY ...
Don't waste time at overcrowded basketball camps and exposure events. Unless you're 6'7" and super athletic, just playing game after game is not likely to get you notices, much less recruited. You need the tools, the attention, and the work habits to become the type of player that every coach wants and every team needs.
Let's face it, on most youth basketball teams only the starting 5 or 6 get significant minutes in gameplay. That's because too many coaches rank winning (even insignificant games), over player development. That means that if you are not already what is considered a good player, you will likely never get enough "court time" to develop your game. And, in many cases, coaches will not even focus on you in practice. That's because it's not the coach's job to get you better; that's your job. But it is part of his job to keep you confident and encourage you to work harder so that you can be ready to contribute when he calls. Remember, the coach has already selected you to be a part of his team, now it is your job to fight for minutes.
Here's the secret that I've learned in all my years working with young athletes, the only real difference between most players is their level of confidence. At the RUN-SHOOT-DEFEND BASKETBALL CAMP, you will gain that inner confidence, that comes from knowing that you have put in the time and the work, to contribute well on any team.
